Event is and will be sanctioned in accordance to the rules and regulations of the Kansas City Barbecue Society Master Series Competition.

Sanctioned by Kansas City Barbecue Society, Pit Boss Rumble invites out Grill Masters and Competition Teams from all over to compete Head to Head for a $5,000 cash prize, a chance to become Pit Boss Rumble Champion and become eligible to compete in the World Series of Barbecue: American Royal and Jack Daniels World BBQ Championship. Judging is based on Best of Pork Ribs, Pork Butts, Chicken and Brisket. Teams can earn Best for a Single category, but must have best overall to win championship.

• In accordance with KCBS guidelines, to be considered champion and winner of the event each competitor must cook & turn-in 4 Meats: Chicken, Pork Butt or Pork Shoulder, Beef Brisket and Pork Ribs.
• There will be only 50 Reserve Spots for BBQ Competitors allocated on a First come, First Serve basis. 
• Application is complete only after submittal of entire $300.00 competition fee.
• For any additional equipment needed such as generators, ice, etc. please include corresponding payment with your application submission.
• Application Deadline is Friday, July 1st, 2022
